Vacation Bible School Graduation

Our Vacation Bible School graduation was held this morning 9:00 am at liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church at Fernandez Cmpd. Liliw, Laguna. About 22 out of 30+ children attended the graduation. Our guest speaker was Sir. Aguila, principal of Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School. After the ceremony a snack was followed at the basement. Present during the graduation was Ana Arnisto our Sabbath School Director, Noemi Dones, Lorie Cornelio, Rhey Brena, Lito Montesines, Sarah Arvesu, Miles Pales, Tracy Montesines, and their Teacher for VBS, Dianne Gonzales our Children Ministry Director.

Sabbath Guest Speaker

The principal of Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School, Bro. Aguila was our guest speaker this morning. Then after the potluck in the afternoon, the AY program was handled by friends of Sis. Reynalyn Arvesu from AUP. About more than 18 of them and almost all of them are fresh graduate from AUP who happened to have a retreat in a nearby resort here in Liliw. And tomorrow morning at 9:00 am will be the Vacation Bible School Graduation.

2nd Week of our Vacation Bible School

Our ongoing Vacation Bible School being held at our Church is on its second week. The VBS graduation will be this coming Sunday.

AY Program

Our Head Elder Bro. Donato Brena was our speaker for yesterday Sabbath worship. In the afternoon, the Adventist Youth of Nagcarlan Church join us in our AY program.

Start of Vacation Bible School

Today is the start of our Vacation Bible School at our church located in Fernandez Compound, Liliw, Laguna. Sis. Dianne Gonzalez, our Children Mininistry Director will led the VBS for two weeks.

Philippine Frontier Mission

Our brother from Philippine Frontier Mission was our guest speaker this Sabbath morning. Ptr. Dave came to share some of the project and accomplishment of PFM. You can visit their site at http://www.phil-frontier.org/index.htm for details.

Our Guests this Sabbath

Today Sabbath Worship being holiday here in the Philippines, we have so many guest. Our speaker is Ptr. Hermogenes Villanueva together with his family. We also have Bro. Elmor Agapay and his family. Mayor Jonathan Polistico and Vice-Mayor Dennis Kabamalan and the 8 candidate for councilors. They all joined us at our potluck at the basement.

1st Quarter Communion Service

This morning of Sabbath was our first Communion Service for this year. Ptr. Luisito Suasi was our guest speaker and he led our Communion Service together with our Elders. Some of our brothers and sisters share their testimonial especially the newly baptized. Then we have a potluck after the service and followed by AY in the afternoon.

Tommorow will be our first communion service for the year 2007. Every end of each quarter is our communion service.

Mass Baptism

This afternoon, a Mass Baptism was held during the Laguna I District Fellowship. The Mass Baptism was led by Ptr. Glenn Sta. Ana, the speaker of the nightly crusade, together with other Pastors from South-Central Luzon Conference. Total of 98 people were baptized this afternoon at a pool in Lakeview near Sampalok Lake, San Pablo City aside from the other baptism held last week. 4 of those baptized were soldier, member of Philippine Army. Laguna I District Fellowship

Tommorow will be the Laguna I District Fellowship at Laguna Polytechnic University in San Pablo, Laguna. And in the afternoon will be a mass baptism.

Life Recovery Seminar

Last Sunday, march 11, 2007 was the start of a nightly crusade at San Pablo City. The theme is Life Recovery Seminar - Restoring your soul in time of suffering, pain and loss. The speaker was Ptr. Glenn Sta. Ana from the U.S. This nightly seminar are held at Laguna State Polytechnic University at San Pablo City, Laguna.

Grand Crusade at San Pablo City

Our 6 nights of our Cottage Meeting ended last night with a gift giving. As a token of our appreciation to all who attended our crusade, we gave each a pack of rice, some noodles and a can of sardines. Some of the attendee gave a short testimonial on what they gained during their 6 night of listening to our cottage meeting. And on Sunday, March 11 will be the start of a 6 day Grand Crusade at San Pablo City. The speaker for the Crusade will be Ptr. Glen Sta. Ana from the U.S. It will be from March 11 until March 16 then on March 17 Saturday will be the Laguna I District Fellowship with Mass Baptism in the afternoon.

Last Day Tonight

Last night was our 5th night of our Cottage Meeting and the weather was fine. The topic last night was about Sabbath and tonight will be about Baptism. Tonight will be the last night of our 6 day Cottage meeting. We'll post some news later.

4th Night of our Meeting

We just finished our 4th night of our cottage meeting. We thank God for giving us a good weather, because its raining the other night until yesterday afternoon. Through prayers we were able to held our meeting with a beautiful weather. People were continue to increase every night.

3rd Day of our Cottage Meeting

Last night on our 3rd night was another successful night. The only minor problem that we encounter was the children. So tonight we'll separate the children from the adult in order to have a much more better presentation.

2nd Night of our Cottage Meeting

Our second night was great, more new faces have listened and watch our presentation. We are able to provide more chair to our attendee not like yesterday were some people are kept standing because of lack of chair. We'll post video on You Tube soon.

Our First Night of Cottage Meeting

Last night was the first of our 6 nightly meeting at Brgy. Palina. It was a successful opening. We did not expect to have that much but we are happy and glad to see many people who listened to our messages. We thank God for giving us a good weather and we'll continue to pray for the success of this meeting. To our Head Elder Bro. Donato Brena, congrats.

Welcome to our 1 Week of Cottage Meeting

We just finish this morning the setup of our Tent and other equipment to be use tonight at the site where we will have our 6 nightly meeting at Brgy. Palina. The weather is fine and sunny not like yesterday. We ask all of you to include our Cottage Meeting in your prayers.

Start of our 1 Week Cottage Meeting

Tomorrow, Sunday, March 4, 2007 will be the start of our 6 day Cottage Meeting at Brgy. Palina, Liliw, Laguna. We will start at 6:30 pm until about 8:30 pm. We are bless because 2 of the Female Missionaries are helping us out. One is Dorothy, a Korean Missionary and the other one is Janet, a Filipino Missionary. This morning of Sabbath our guest speaker is the Sis. Janet and they were able to invite one of their new found friend from Brgy. Palayan. And in the afternoon, we went to Brgy. Cottage Meeting

This coming Sunday will be the start of our Cottage Meeting at Brgy. Ilayang Palina. It will start at around 6:45 pm and will end at 8:30 pm. Bro. Dony Brena our head elder will led the Cottage Meeting.

Branch Sabbath School

We are on our 3rd Saturday of Branch Sabbath School at Brgy. Palina. We have 3 groups assigned on 3 specific area in Brgy. Palina. This will be our second year to hold the Branch Sabbath School in this barangay. And next Sunday will be the start of our Cottage Meeting at the said barangay.

Operation Linis a Success

Last Sunday was our last day of a 2 Sunday Operation Linis at Brgy. Ilayang Palina. Present last Sunday was Bro.Dony, Bro.Fred, Bro.Ramil, Bro.Rhey, Bro.Noriel, Bro.Lito, Bro.Zardo, Bro.Nasar, Sis.Iday, Sis.Noemi, Sis. Puring, Sis.Perla, Sis.Juanit, Sis.Lorie, Sis.Nida, Sis.Agnes, Miles, Tracy, JM. And also those present on first day was Sis. Ana, Sis. Maricon, Bro. Jerameel. 2nd day of Operation Linis

This coming Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, from 7am to 9am, this will be our 2nd day of our Operation Linis, a 2 day street cleaning at Brgy. Ilayang Palina. So we're inviting all our brother and sister to join us in this project.

Operation Linis

We started our first Operation Linis at Brgy. Ilayang Palina at about 7:20 a.m. We are about 20 person who participate in this project. Next Sunday will be our second Operation Linis, also at Brgy. Palina where we will have a Cottage Meeting next month.

This Morning of Sabbath

Coordinator ng Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries Bro. Noriel Brena was our Sabbath Worship speaker. In the afternoon after AY, we went to Brgy. Palina for the first day of Branch Sabbath School. Composed of three groups on different area in Brgy. Palina. And tommorow will be our Operation Linis, a street cleaning also in Brgy. Palina.

Operation Linis

Liliw seventh-day Adventist will have an "Operation Linis" a Street Cleaning on Brgy. Ilayang Palina on Sunday, Feb 11, 2007 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. This will be one of our first project for this year for the said barangay in preparation for our Cottage Meeting on first week of March.

Speaker of the Day

Our speaker for this Sabbath worship is Ptr. Wally Panaglima, Director of Livelihood, North Philippine Union Mission. This was his second time here at Liliw SDA for year 2007. His first visit was the first Sabbath of the year, 2007. He also conduct seminar in the afternoon and evening. DCC/DAC meeting was also held here at Liliw SDA this afternoon at the basement.

Livelihood Seminar

Liliw SDA Church will have a 2 day livelihood seminar on Feb. 3 and 4 at Liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church, Liliw, Laguna. It will be held in the afternoon this coming Saturday and Sunday. This livelihood seminar will be led by Ptr. Wally Panaglima, Livelihood Director from North Philippine Union Mission.

Speaker for Sabbath Worship

Pastor Suasi was our guest speaker for the Sabbath Worship, his sermon was about stewardship. Also present was our former church pastor, Pastor Glen Mariano. Sis. Susan Brena led the Sabbath School lesson.

Voluntary Blood Donation Project (Sagip Buhay)

Yesterday, December 17, 2006, Liliw SDA Church led by Adventist Community Service, held the last for this year program for a Voluntary Blood Donation. Together with the Laguna Chapter of the Philippine National Red Cross, we set up at around 8:00 in the morning. Councilor Lito Aquino was also there to help us. Laguna I District Fellowship

Yesterday, December 16 was the last District Fellowship for 2006. It was held at Rizal Elementary School, Rizal, Laguna. The host church was Nagcarlan SDA Church. The guest speaker was Bro. Sampson, a foreign student from AIIAS. And in the afternoon was a min i concert then exchange gift from churches. And the dedication of next year Officers from different Churches and DACC/DCC Officers.

Sagip Buhay - A Voluntary Blood Donation

Liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church led by Adventist Community Service will hold the 2nd for this year Sagip Buhay Project, a voluntary blood donation. It will be this coming Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza from 8:00 am to 3:00 p.m. So we ask for your support and prayers for the success of this project.

Speaker of the Day

Our Sabbath Worship speaker for the day was our elder Bro. Fred Pales. His message was about "Our Pride." And next Sabbath will be the Laguna 1 District Fellowship at Rizal, Laguna.

Praise Program

Yesterday was SCLC Praise Program held at Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Churches from different Town and Cities converged for the yearly Praise program.

Laguna I Children District Fellowship

This morning Sabbath Worship speaker was Bro. Lito Montesines. and this afternoon The Laguna I held the 1st Children District Fellowship "Let There be Praises" at Nagcarlan Central School, Nagcarlan, Laguna. It's like a mini-concert where children from each churches rendered 3 to 5 performances. Parents are there to support their childrens. The program started at 1:30 pm and end at about 4:30 pm.

Last Sabbath, we held our quarterly Communion Service. Our speaker for that day is Sis. Susan Brena.

Seminar

Pastor Arnel Gabin of SCLC and Our District Pastor Lemuel Fadriquela held a seminar last Vesper night, Sabbath morning and on AY program for Laymen's. Majayjay SDA Church, Sta. Our Medical Mission was Successful

Medical Mission Tomorrow

We are ready for tomorrow's Medical Mission. The Officers and members of Liliw Seventh-day Adventist are ready for tomorrow medical mission. The services which we will offer are Free Medical Check-Up, Dental and Minor Surgery. We are now finalizing some details, we're having a meeting for all the commitee. We ask for your prayers for this mission, and thanks to all the donation.

Medical Mission on Nov. 5

Liliw Seventh-day Adventist led by Adventist Community Service will hold a Medical Mission on Nov. 5, 2006, Sunday at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza from 8 am to 4 pm. The Medical team coming from Manila is thru the effort of Bro. Ramil Dayo. The ACS team were able to solicit financial support from different people, government, politician and ordinary people.

Sabbath Speaker

The Sabbath Worship program was handled by the Treasury Department. Our Church's Treasurer, Sis Ana Arnisto was our Speaker for the day. She emphasized the important of our Tithe and Offering.

Medical Mission

Liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church will be having a Medical Mission on Nov 5, 2006. As of now we are soliciting funds for our project. We would like to ask for your financial support and prayers.
