Second Week of Repair and Renovation

Repair and Renovation has just started

Repair and renovation of the church has started last Wednesday, May 17, 2006. Rainy season is coming so the Officers and Building Commitee decided to start the repair. They start to repair the ceiling and the roof. With God's help and your continue support in helping us generate fund, we can finish it sooner. There are only 3 people working (1 regular carpenter and 2 helper) because of our tight budget. You can visit the Liliw SDA Building Plan link for some pictures.

Vacation Bible School Graduation

The VBS graduation was finally held last tuesday, May 16, 2006. Because of the typhoon that hit the country, the VBS graduation was postponed last saturday. From what I had learned it was a successful program, unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures of the program coz I'm in Manila at that time. Anyway in behalf of the Officers and Members of the Liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church, we would like to congratulate the teachers and their aid for a successful Vacation Bible School program and we would also like to thank those in-charge of food for the merienda of the student of VBS. We hope to see you again next year.

Vacation Bible School Graduation Postpones

Last day of Vacation Bible School was last Friday, May 12. But because of the typhoon that hit the country, electricity was cut down for 3 days from last friday 12:45 pm in the afternoon until last night 10 pm. Even if there's typhoon that friday morning there are still more students who attend the last day and practice of the VBS. The scheduled VBS graduation last Saturday afternoon was postponed. They scheduled it this Tuesday, May 16, 2006 This was photo taken last friday morning. Other photos can be browse at the SDA photo and activities link.

Second Day of Vacation Bible School

Day 2 of Vacation Bible School was so hot coz there's no electricity. There were more students than yesterday. Brownout lasted until 10:30 am. Children are eager to learn and enjoy the different activities being held. More of picture can be seen at the SDA Photos of Activities link at the right side.

First Day of Vacation Bible School

The first day of the Vacation Bible School start at around 9 am. This was led by Sis. Diane and Sis. Sarah. They were assisted by Bro. Robin. Some of the pictures can also be browse at the Liliw SDA Photos of Activities link.

Vacation Bible School

Tommorrow will start our Vacation Bible School to be held at Liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church at Fernandez Compound, Liliw, Laguna. This will only be one week activities, from 8:00 to 11:00 am and 1:00 to 4:00 pm. This will be led by Sis Diane and Sis. Sarah.

Branch Sabbath School Graduation

The Branch Sabbath School Graduation was held this afternoon at Ilayang Palina Day Care Center. At around 3:00 p.m. we pick the children from their respective house and took them to the barangay center where we held the program. Sis Ana Arnisto, Branch Sabbath School Director together with the different area group leader led by Sis. Len-Len Arguelles, Sis. Lucy Montesines, Sis. Sarah Arvesu and Sis Diane, Children's Director. Each graduates were given a certificate. And after the program followed a merienda for the kids. Sis Iday and Bro. Jaime Dones and Sis.
