Bro Jezreel Armisto, our Adventist Youth Director delivered the message last Sabbath during the Hour of Worship.

Mother's Day Message

Our theme last Sabbath was Mother's Day special. Our Sabbath School Superintendent, Sis Ana Arnisto has a special gift to all the mothers present during Sabbath School. Bro Jaime Dones delivered the Hour of Worship message with Mother's day theme. Sis Yvette Rosales from Nagcarlan SDA Church rendered a special song before the message and Sis. Tracy Lynn Montesines rendered another song after the Speaker messaged. AY program started at about 2:30 in the afternoon with AY leader, Bro. Jezreel Arnisto presiding.

Speaker Last Sabbath

Last Saturday during the Hour of Worship, Bro. Robin Olor delivered the message for the brethren. His message was about Laodecean church, the common problem of the church member. AY program started late because of a bad weather.

Laguna I Camp Meeting Fellowship

The Laguna 1 District of SCLC just finished its 5 day Camp Meeting Fellowship with Sabbath Worship at San Lorenzo, San Pablo City. Ptr Jessie Samiento from the US was the speaker. The emphasis of his message was about Family values. The importance of our Parents especially in Adventist Family.

Start of Vacation Bible School

We started our Vacation Bible School yesterday with more than 30 students. Led by Reynalyn Arvesu together with Sarah, Robin and Zurich, they composed the teaching staff of this year VBS. Vacation Bible School

The Vacation Bible School will start on Monday, April 20 to April 24. This will be held at Liliw Adventist Church, Fernandez Compd.

Visitors from Manila Center Adventist Church

From Manila Center Adventist Church

We'll be having a visitor this coming Saturday from Manila Center Adventist Church. Sis Cecille Dones, together with her friends from Manila will handle the program from morning till afternoon. A mini concert in the afternoon during AY program. They will arrive this coming Friday.

Communion Service

We will be having a Communion Service this coming Saturday. This will be our first for this year. Our speaker last Sabbath was Bro. Sam Jaoud, our PM director and one of our Elder.

Blood Donation Project

We just finished our Sagip-Buhay, a Voluntary Blood Donation project yesterday at Liliw Town Plaza. We thank all who help and make this project a success. We thank God for his guidance.

Child Dedication

Bro. Johnson and Janice Arvesu dedicate their son last Saturday. Ptr. Panghulan led the ceremony after his Hour of Worship Message. Potluck at the basement followed after the second service and AY started at about 2 pm.

e-Roster Seminar

There will be a seminar on e-Roster that wiil be held at South-Central Luzon Conference. Church clerk, treasurer from Laguna, Batangas and Quezon are expected to attend.

Mrs Helen Gulfan - SSD Women Ministry Director

The speaker last Sabbath during the Laguna I District Fellowship held at Rizal, Laguna was Mrs. Helen Gulfan, Southern Asia Pacific Division Women Ministry Director. Her message was about the role now a days of womens in evangelism. The emphasis was Womens Ministry, Music Ministry and Evangelism. Also present was Mrs. Luz Villanueva, South-Central Luzon Conference Women Ministry Director and Mrs. Esther Daquila, North Philippine Union Mission Women Minstry Director.

A visitor from the Accounting Department of SCLC, Bro Roland Fabon was our speaker last Sabbath. He's emphasis was about Stewardship. His family was also present together with Bro. Jeoffrey Oabel and his family. We have a Potluck at the basement at lunch time and AY started at about 1:30 in the afternoon.

Mini Fellowship at Rizal, Laguna

Yesterday, we are in the newly constructed Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rizal, Laguna. With Nagcarlan SDA Church, Liliw SDA Church and the host Rizal SDA Church gathered together to hold a mini fellowship with our District Pastor, Ptr Lem Fadriquela. Also present was Dir. Juanito Relampagos, SCLC Publishing Director and others Literature Envangelist. Dir. Relampagos led the Sabbath School Lesson and Ptr. Fadriquela delivered the message in Hour or Worship. In the afternoon Dir. Relampagos held a mini seminar about health and Ptr. Fadriquela gave the strategic plan for this year.

Bro. Ramil Dayo, our Family Life Director, delivered the message last Sabbath during our Hour of Worship. Special song rendered by Jen-Jen Dayo and AY program started at 2 pm.

Women Ministry Seminar

The Laguna 1 Women Ministry Seminar was held here at Liliw SDA Church last Sunday afternoon. Womens especially the Women Ministry Director from different churches attended the seminar led by Bro. Benjie Sulit together with Ptr. Relampagos. The seminar was about how the womens can help in evangelism. What they can do to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. The seminar started at about 2 in the afternoon up to about 5 pm.

Bro. Dony Brena our head elder was the speaker last Saturday during our Divine Worship. In the afternoon our new AY Leader led the AY program.

Message from SCLC PM/SS Director

Ptr. Wally Panaglima, South-Central Luzon Conference Personal Ministry and Sabbath School Director, delivered the message for our Hour of Worship last Sabbath, January 10, 2009. Ptr. Panaglima also led our Sabbath School Lesson study. In the afternoon, AY program started at 2 pm with Sis Sarah Arvesu who led the program.

Year End Get Together

We'll be having our year end get together this Saturday night. Program and exchange of gifts will be one of the agenda. Children parlor games and some presentation are line up for the night. This will be at basement at around 6 pm.

This morning during our Sabbath Hour of Worship, Bro. Elmor Agapay gave the message for our brethren. Special song by Bro. Ramil and Juanit Dayo before the message. Lesson Study Review was led by Bro. Sam Jaoud. In the afternoon awarding of the bible quiz bee winner during AY program.

New Adventist Church at Rizal, Laguna

The newly build Seventh-dat Adventist Church in Rizal, Laguna was inagurated last Saturday and attended by pastors and elders of different churches of Laguna 1.

Our Sabbath Worship message was delivered by Bro. Lito Montesines. He again used powerpoint for his message. Bro Jaoud and Bro. Dones led the Sabbath Lesson review. Potluck at the basement followed and a Health lecture in the afternoon.

4th Sunday Night of Ingathering

Our 4th Sunday of of Ingathering thru Singing band. Although its raining that day, the rain stop when we started rendering song. We are able to serenade more than 15 houses that night. The rain started to pour again after we finish our Ingathering that night.
