District Fellowship

The Laguna I District will have a Fellowship this coming Saturday, September 20, 2008. This will be held at Covered Court in Magdalena, Laguna.

Sabbath Speaker

Our speaker last Sabbath Hour of Worship was Sis. Zenaida Dones. Sis. Iday delivered her short but powerful message for the brethren. Bro. Sam Jaoud led our Sabbath School lesson review. We have a Potluck after the Morni service at the basement and AY program started at about 2:00 p.m.

Mass Baptism at Rizal, Laguna

This afternoon of Sabbath, about 80 soul were baptized in this town of Rizal, Laguna. This town is between Nagcarlan and San Pablo. Church are being built in Rizal, Laguna to be their place of worship. We asked for your prayer for this newly organized church in Rizal, Laguna.

Ongoing Crusade at Rizal, Laguna

There are ongoing Crusade being held nightly at the Town of Rizal here in Laguna led by our district pastor, Ptr Fadriquela. Mass baptism will be on Saturday, SDA Church are being built at the said town.

Our Speaker from North Philippine Union Mission

Our Sabbath Divine Worship speaker yesterday was from Accounting Department of North Philippine Union Mission, Bro. Ramil Dayo. Special song from Reynalyn Arvesu together with her two friends. AY program at about 2:00 pm by Bro. Zurich and Sis. Sarah then at 4:00 pm a mini seminar about making a donut conducted by Sis. Noemi Dones.

Speaker from Lipa Adventist Academy

Our Sabbath Divine Worship speaker was from Lipa Adventist Academy, Sis. Aliliy Union Gamaro. She is the Food Service Director of Lipa Adventist Academy. AY program started at 2 p.m.

Music Ministry Director

Sis. Noemi Dones, our Music Ministry Director was our speaker on our divine worship last Saturday. She delivered a short but powerful message for all the brethren.

Speaker Last Sabbath

Bro. Lito Montesines was the speaker for our Hour of Worship last Saturday. He again uses powerpoint presentation for his message. His message is entitled "Why Prayer is Essential". AY program in the afternoon.

Communion Service

Last Vesper, Friday evening, we held our communion service with Ptr. Lem Fadriquela and Bro. Dony Brena our head elder led the communion ceremony. Next day, Our Sabbath Worship was held at Bukal SDA Church as our exchange program. Ptr. Fadriquela delivered the message for the Hour of Worship.

Exchange Program

Tomorrow, Sabbath, we'll be having an exchange program with Bukal SDA Church, this will be like a mini fellowship.

Communion Service

We'll be having a Communion Service this coming Vesper, Friday Aug 1, 2008. This will be our Second Communion Service for this year.

Sabbath School Director

Sis. Ana Marie Arnisto, our Sabbath School Director and Treasurer delivered the message last Sabbath Hour of worship.

Divine Worship Speaker

Our head elder, Bro. Dony Brena delivered the message yesterday during our Hour of Worship. He also led the Sabbath school lesson review and our AY program in the afternoon started about 2 pm.

Last Saturday, Bro. Fred Pales, one of the elder deliver the messaged for the congregation. AY in the afternoon followed by a meeting.

District Fellowship at Majayjay

This morning was the Laguna 1 District Fellowship held at Majayjay, Laguna. With Family as the theme for this quarter of fellowship. Mrs Delba de Chavez was the guest speaker for the Divine Worship. She was the Director of Family Ministry and wife of Ptr. Nelson de Chavez, former President of South-Central Luzon Conference. Afternoon Program with mini concert followed after lunch.

Laguna 1 District Fellowship

On Saturday, June 21, 2008 will be the Laguna 1 District Fellowship. This will be held at Town plaza of Majayjay, Laguna.

Message for Sabbath

Yesterday our Sabbath Worship speaker was retired Ptr. Luisito Suasi. He was one of our former district pastor here in Laguna 1. He also led the Sabbath School Lesson review together with Sis. Susan Brena. In the evening we have services at the wake of Bro. Boyet Arnisto, with Ptr. De Chavez who gave a short message and his wife who rendered a special song.

Condolence to Arnisto Family

Liliw Seventh-day Adventist would like to condole with the family of Bro. Boyet who died last Friday. His remain lies at their home and internment will be on Thursday, June 19. Bro. Boyet is the husband of Sis Nida Arnisto our Head Deaconess, and father of Bro. Jezreel Arnisto and Michelle Arnisto. Services every night by different Pastors are being held at the wake of Bro. Boyet.

District Pastor Message

Ptr. Lemuel Fadriquela, our district pastor delivered the Sabbath Worship message yesterday. He also led our Sabbath School Lesson review. In the afternoon the DCC/DAA meeting was held in our church.

Message for Sabbath Worship

Sis. Noemi Dones, our Music Ministry Director, still single but very energetic was our Sabbath Worship speaker yesterday. She play and teaches violin and have many other talents. She was also the Assistant Sabbath School Director. AY program at about 2:00 pm, led by Bro. Zurich and Sis. Sarah with bible quiz bee, now on its 3rd week yesterday. And Visitation followed after AY program.

Blood Donation Project of Liliw ACS

This was taken last Monday, May 26, 2008 at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza during our Sagip-Buhay Project, A Voluntary Blood Donation by Liliw Adventist Community Service and the Laguna Chapter of Philippine National Red Cross. A total of 26 person donated that day. Also present was Mr. Lito Aquino, former councilor and a representative of Liliw Red Cross.

Sagip-Buhay Today

The Sagip-Buhay, a Voluntary Blood Donation is being held today from 8:00 am to 2 pm. This is being done at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza led by Liliw Adventist Community Service and Philippine National Red Cross Laguna Chapter.

Sabbath Message

Our Sabbath Worship message came from Sis. Puring Sollidin. Its was her second time to deliver a message for the brethren. Potluck at the basement followed after the service and AY started at about 2:00 pm.

Voluntary Blood Donation

We will be having another Sagip-Buhay project, a Voluntary Blood Donation on Monday, May 26, 2008. Led by Liliw Adventist Community Service and Philippine National Red Cross (Laguna Chapter), the project will be from 9 am to 2 pm at Liliw Town Plaza.

Message from the Youth

Bro. Robin Olor, adventist youth was the one who delivered the Sabbath Message for our Sabbath Worship. He's a very shy person. Bro. Elmor Agapay led the Sabbath School lesson review. And in the afternoon was the Vacation Bible School Graduation.

Last Day of Vacation Bible School

This morning was the last day of Vacation Bible School and on Sunday will be the graduation day.

Last 2 days of VBS

This morning of Vacation Bible School, only Sarah Arvesu was present to supervise the children because her companion was in the camp site. Sis Perla Dans and Bro. Rhey Brena was there to help. Only about 20+ was present this morning.

2nd Week of Vacation Bible School

The ongoing Vacation Bible School are now on its second week. More than 30+ are still attending the daily activities.

Message for Sabbath

Bro. Sam Jaoud delivered the message for our Sabbath Worship. We also have our new grouping for our small group. AY was led by Bro. Zurich Placente and Sarah Arvesu. After AY visitation for our brothers and sisters followed.

4th day of Vacation Bible School

The ongoing Vacation Bible School were now on it's fourth day, with Sarah Arvesu and Robin olor as the teacher and Miles Pales helping the children with their activities.

Start of Vacation Bible School

This morning was the first day of our Vacation Bible School. Headed by Sarah Arvesu and Robin Olor with Miles Pales. With more than 30 children attended the first day of the VBS.

On Monday next week, May 5, 2008 will be the start of a 2 weeks Vacation Bible School at Liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church, Fernandez Compound.

Yesterday during Sabbath Worship, Bro. Noriel and Badette Brena dedicated their son with Ptr Billy Villarias as our guest speaker. Potluck followed and AY program and visitation in the afternoon.

There will be a Sportsfest tomorrow at South-Central Luzon Conference. There will be different events like basketball, badminton and others sports activities.

Vacation Bible School

We will be having a Vacation Bible School this summer vacation. The Adventist Youth are now preparing the things needed. We'll announce the schedule as soon as we finalize some other details.

Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School

The Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School need your financial support, the school has deep financial problem. This coming Sabbath our Church will have special offering for NAES. Your financial support and prayers are needed in order for the school to continue operating and settle their financial obligation.

Sabbath Worship

Bro. Dony Brena, our head elder delivers the message for our Sabbath Worship this morning. The Adventist Men rendered the special song. Bro. Jaime Dones and Bro. Dony Brena led the review of our Sabbath Lesson. AY program in the afternoon was led by Bro. Zurich Placente, AY Leader. DAC/DCC meeting was held at Majayjay Seventh-day Adventist Church, Majayjay, Laguna also this afternoon.

Social Night

After two weeks of evangelistic crusade, last Saturday night, we decided to have a social night for all the brethren especially for the newly baptized members. Children who also attended the nightly meeting are also present. The program was led by Bro. Dony, Bro. Glenn and Sis. Susan. The program started at about 7 pm and end past 10 pm. We prepared food and snacks for all to enjoy. Photo using cellphone camera, that is why its dark.

Mass Baptism

Saturday afternoon of Sabbath, a Mass Baptism was held at Brgy. Malamig at San Pablo City, Laguna. More than 300+ people was baptized in San Pablo. Simultaneously with other Mass Baptism from other places like Batangas Province and Quezon province was also held. They said that about 1,000 soul was simultaneously baptized that Sabbath afternoon.

Last Night, Our 15th Night of Evangelistic Crusade

It was a very touching and emotional night for all of us because last night was our last day of 2 weeks of nightly evangelistic crusade. Mrs. Donna Griffith will be leaving on Sunday. She was a very wonderful, nice person. She told us about his personal life, her family and she even show us her family photos. Mrs. Griffith has some few minutes of farewell talk to the brethren after the crusade. So in behalf of Liliw Seventh-day Adventist and Bukal Seventh-day Adventist we would like to thank Mrs. Donna Griffith for her dedication for this crusade.

Our 14th Night of Evangelistic Crusade (Philippine for Christ 2008)

Last night, the 2nd to the last was a short night. Health lecture by Sis. Ana Arnisto, special number by Tracy and Harlie then Dianne for the appeal song. Mrs. Griffith was not around last night so Bro. Glenn, the layman was the one who led the messages and some testimonial. Tonight will be the last night of our crusade. As of last night, about 15 person walk in front to accept Christ and be baptize. Some are still hesitant to stand up so we asked you to pray for these people.

On our 13th Night of P4C

We are on our 3rd to the last of our nigthly evangelistic crusade. Sis. Laarni Brosas gave the Health lecture about Smoking. Tracy and Harlie and the Women Ministry rendered the special music for the night. Appeal for the candidate for baptism at the end of the meeting. Please pray for all the interest and those who commit themselved to Christ for baptism.

12th Night of Crusade

Our meeting started a little bit early last night and we're able to finish earlier than expected. Sis. Ana Arnisto led the Health Lecture. Tracy Lynn Montesines and Harlie Panaglima rendered the special number for the night. With Glen as the interpreter for Mrs. Griffith.
