Last Sabbath Worship Message

This morning of Sabbath, our speaker for this last Sabbath Worship for this year was Bro. Ramil Dayo. In the evening our Adventist Youth has prepared a special program for the year end activities. Last night was also our last Communion Service for the year. Almost all members are present to participate in our quarterly Communion Service.

Last Quarter Communion Service

Tonight, during our Vesper, we'll be having our last quarter Communion Service for this year. This is the first time that we'll having it on Vesper, Friday evening.

Blood Donation Program

Yesterday was the Sagip-Buhay, a Voluntary Blood Donation project of Liliw Seventh-day Adventist and Philippine National Red Cross (Laguna Chapter). This was our 2nd Sagip-Buhay for this year.

Sagip Buhay - Voluntary Blood Donation 2

Liliw Seventh-day Adventist led by Adventist Community Service and Philippine National Red Cross (Laguna Chapter) will have its second Sagip-Buhay project. This is a voluntary blood donation to be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza from 8:00 to 2:00 pm. We are encouraging everyone especially our brothers and sisters to help us with this project. With your personal appearance and prayers we can make this project a success.

Branch Sabbath School

Photo was taken from one of the small group that conduct the Branch Sabbath School yesterday afternoon. Sis. Sarah Arvesu led the story telling to the children. The other 3 small group have their own territorial assignment.

Today Message

Bro. Jaime Dones was our speaker this morning of Sabbath Worship. Before that our Head Elder Bro. Dony Brena announce to all church member that there will be a big crusade that will done on February next year at San Pablo City. With that a preparation for the said forthcoming crusade will be community services here at Liliw. The theme for this crusade will be "Tell the World".

Sabbath Worship

Christmas season are just around the corner, here in Liliw, we feel it already, its already cold out here. This morning of Sabbath, the speaker was Bro. Lito Montesines. The newly baptized member, Sis. Elena and Sis. Sol are present the whole day.

Mass Baptism

Praise Program was held yesterday at Rizal Elementary School, Rizal, Laguna. Rizal town was the only town in district of Laguna I that has no Adventist Church and member. Yesterday in the after lunch, a mass baptism from Bukal SDA was done at Tereza Resort, Rizal, Laguna. A total of 27 souls has decided to be baptized and follow Jesus, and they are always present during the crusade of Ptr. Imai at Kanluran Bukal, Liliw, Laguna. Praise Program

This morning was Laguna I and Eastern Laguna Praise program held at Rizal, Laguna. Ptr Imai was the guest speaker. Present also at Praise program was Ptr. Wally Panaglima, NPUM director, Ptr. Panghulan SCLC director, Ptr. Villarias, Ptr. Suasi, Ptr. Relampagos and Ptr. Fadriquela, the district Pastor of Laguna I, The district Pastor of Eastern Laguna was also present. Sir. Taku the Japanese friend of Ptr. Nobuaki Imai was also there.

Last Night of Crusade

The Crusade at Liliw Bukal was just concluded a while ago with more than 30 people who decided for baptism tomorrow. With Ptr. Imai and Ptr. Panghulan who led the crusade, together with Sir. Taku and Bro. Alex Arzola, head elder of Liliw Bukal. Also present on the last day of crusade was Ptr. Torres and Ptr. Fadriquela. Tomorrow will be the mass baptism during the Praise program at Rizal, Laguna.

7th Night of Crusade

This is the 7th night of the crusade at Kanluran Bukal. Aside from Ptr. Panghulan and Ptr. Imai, also present are Ptr. Villanueva, Ptr. Gabin and Ptr. Fadriquela our district pastor. After the message of Ptr. Imai, he called on Ptr. Villanueva to have a short talk and asked the people who among them have decided to follow Jesus. Almost all of the listeners stode up for the call. Tomorrow will be the final night of the crusade and lets all pray that all of them will decide to be baptize and follow our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ.

Fellowship on Saturday

The ongoing crusade at Liliw Bukal will end with a fellowship at Rizal, Laguna on Saturday. The speaker will be Ptr. Steve Nobuaki Imai. Tonight will be 6th night of the crusade at Kanluran Bukal.

3rd Night of Crusade

Last night was the 3rd night of ongoing crusade with Ptr. Steve Nobuaki Imai as the main speaker and Ptr. Panghulan as the interpreter. With Ptr. Imai was another Japanese friend name Sir. Taku Ishizuka, a retired principal from Japan adventist School. The number of people attending the seminar are increasing every day.

Start of Crusade

The "Tell the World - Jesus Saves Family Seminar" started last night with Ptr. Jorge Panghulan. Liliw SDA Church, the mother church of Liliw Bukal was also there to help and give our full support for this crusade. The opening night of the crusade was successful. People from different place gather to watch and listen to the message given last night. It will continue every night until Nov. 24. Our Sabbath Worship this morning was also held at Liliw Bukal with Ptr Panghulan as Speaker. We are encouraging you to include in your prayer this on going crusade. We'll post some picture soon.

Crusade by Liliw Bukal SDA Church

Liliw Bukal will be having a crusade from Nov16 to 24, 2007 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Kanlurang Bukal, Liliw, Laguna.. The theme is Tell the World, Jesus Saves Family Seminar. Led by Ptr Jorge Panghulan and from Japan Ptr. Steve Nobuaki Imai.

Medical Mission

Liliw Bukal Seventh-day Adventist has just concluded a Medical Mission at Barangay Kanluran Bukal, Liliw, Laguna this morning. They have dental and medical consultation and check-up. Our Sabbath Speaker

Bro Jezreel Arnisto was our speaker for this Sabbath morning worship. His message was about our addiction to different things like alcohol, cigarettes and television and how we can control and minimize our addiction to it.

Harvest Ingathering

Yesterday evening was our 2nd Harvest Ingathering, our brothers and sisters went to Luna st. The first one was last week at Gat Tayaw st. We were able to reach our goal in 2 harvest.

Child Dedication

Yesterday morning during our Sabbath Worship, Bro Joel and Sis. Nora Arvesu dedicated their daughter with Ptr. Torres leading the ceremony together with the Elders. Ptr Torres was also our speaker for the Sabbath Worship.

Sabbath School Director

This morning of Sabbath, Sis Ana Marie Arnisto, our Sabbath School Director and Church Treasurer was our speaker. Her message was about health, what to avoid and how to maintain a good health.

Communion Service

We have a Communion Service this morning of Sabbath. We do it every quarter for us to be more closer not only to God but to each one of us. Our speaker was our head elder Bro. Donato Brena.

Communion Service Next Sabbath

Liliw SDA Church will have our quarterly Communion Service on October 6, Sabbath day. We do our Communion Service every last Sabbath of every quarter but because of some urgent reason we will have it next Sabbath. Our speaker this morning was Bro. Jaime Dones.

Our Sabbath Worship speaker this morning was Sis. Puring Sollodin, her first time to deliver a message. She was only baptized last year.

District Fellowship this Saturday

On Sept. 15 will be the Laguna I District Fellowship at Rizal Elementary School, Rizal, Laguna. Sta. Isabel SDA Church will host the fellowship this coming Sabbath.

Condolence to the Brena Family

Bro. Salvador Brena known to many as Ka Badong just passed away this morning. We would like to asked for a minute of prayer. We will post the interment will be on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m.

One Week of Prayer Finished

Our One Week of Prayer has just finished this morning with Sis. Lucy Montesines as speaker. Next Sabbath will be our District Fellowship at Rizal, Laguna

One Week of Prayer

The One Week of Prayer (Isang Linggong Panalangin) started this morning. The speaker was Sis. Noemi Dones, Music Director. It will be everyday until next Sabbath. Our Branch sabbath School is still on-going at four different areas led by our four small groups.

Speaker for this Quarter

Our speakers for this 3rd quarter are all womens. The first was Sis. Puring Placente last July 28. Sis. Ana Arnisto followed last August 4, then Sis. Lorie Cornelio last August 11 and then Sis. Juanit Dayo last August 18. And this morning our Sabbath Speaker was Sis. Zenaida Dones known to many as Mommy Iday.

Church Building Renovation

The front side renovation and expansion of our church building has started this morning. The church board has decided to expand our church building because of our increasing number of church membership. The expansion is estimated to finish in 2 to 3 weeks time. So we are again soliciting for your prayers and financial support for our expansion project to finish as soon as possible. Thank you and God bless. Condolence to the Dones Family

One of the pioneer or the early Adventist here in Liliw just passed away this morning of Sabbath. Vicente Dones known to many as Bro. Ferrer, father of Bro. Jaime Dones died at around passed 1:00 am of Sabbath morning. He just celebrated his 90th birthday last April 5, 2007. Lolo Ferrer is very active in his younger years, he led together with his son, Jaime and others in many cottage meeting in this town of Liliw. He was also known here in Liliw during the 70's as one of the leader in footwear industries. Known as Don Vegaz (Dones, Vicente, Emilia, Geminiano, Angeles, Zosimo) in the footwear industries. Interment will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 2:00 pm at Liliw Cemetary.

This Sabbath morning, our speaker was Laguna I District Pastor, Ptr. Lem Fadriquela who deliver the message for our Sabbath Worship. Potluck was followed and in the afternoon, AY program at 1:30 and DAC/DCC meeting at Sta. Isabel.

On Going Sagip-Buhay Project

Today is our Voluntary Blood Donation being held at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza. This project wasled by Liliw SDA Community Service and Philippine National Red Cross Laguna Chapter. Voluntary Blood Donation

Liliw Seventh-day Adventist, led by our Adventist Community Service, together with Philippine National Red Cross, Laguna Chapter will have our regular Sagip-Buhay project, this is a Voluntary Blood Donation. This will be on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Liliw Municipal Town Plaza. So we are inviting our friend from Laguna to come and join our Sagip-Buhay project and help save lives.

Communion Service

This morning of Sabbath was our quarterly communion service. Our guest speaker was Ptr. Suasi who also led the ceremonial of our communion service after he deliver his message. In the afternoon, our Sabbath School Superintendent, Sis. Ana Arnisto gave a short quiz for last quarterly lesson memory verses. After that Ptr. Suasi deliver a short message.

Quarterly Communion Service

On Saturday, June 30 will be our quarterly Communion Service. So we ask for our brothers and sisters to prepare yourself for this important occasion. Ptr. Suasi will lead the Communion Service this coming Sabbath.

Message from Sabbath School Director

Our Sabbath worship message this morning was deliver by our Sabbath School Director, Sis. Ana Arnisto. Bro. Jezreel Arnisto who just arrived last night from abroad read the Bible keytext and gave the Pastoral Prayer. Potluck after our worship and in the afternoon was our AY program, some of our officer was in the DAC/DCC meeting.

Laguna I District Fellowship

Our district fellowship was held this morning of Sabbath at Calumpang National High School in Calumpang, Laguna. The message was deliver by our guest speaker, Mr. Bienvinido Sagnoy, Education Supt. of South-Central Luzon Conference. But before that our guest choir from Manila, The Verses and Voices Male Chorus rendered the Ministry in Song. In the afternoon program was a mini concert from the Verses & Voices Male Chorus Chorus. The all-male choir was accompanied by Ms. Cecille Dones their organist, cousin of Noemi Dones. After the mini-concert was the special feature from Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School, followed by Sta. Isabel Adventist Elementary School and then San Rafael Adventist Elementary School. Then Education promotion, a short talk from Mr. Bienvinido Sagnoy and lastly the special tribute to all the Mothers and Fathers with inspirational talk from Ptr. Norberto Villarias

2nd Quarter Laguna I District Fellowship

This coming Saturday, June 16 will be the Laguna I District Fellowship. It will be hosted by Sta. Lucia Seventh-day Adventist Church. The District fellowship will be at Calumpang Elementary School, Calumpang, Laguna.

Speaker yesterday Sabbath

Yesterday speaker for our Sabbath worship was Bro. Lito Montesines, one of our elder, he use a projector and a laptop for his messages. Bro. Elmor, our guest from Manila deliver the Pastoral Prayer.

Bro. Fred Pales one of our elder was the one who deliver the messages for our Sabbath service yesterday morning. Pastoral and Bible reading was done by our guest Retired Ptr. Luisito Suasi.

This Morning Speaker

Our Sabbath Worship speaker was Ret. Ptr Luisito Suasi. It was his 3rd time this year to visit our church. Although he was a retired pastor, he was still very much active in the work of God. Then potluck was followed after the second service. The DACC-DCC also held their meeting in the afternoon at our church.

Vacation Bible School Graduation

Our Vacation Bible School graduation was held this morning 9:00 am at liliw Seventh-day Adventist Church at Fernandez Cmpd. Liliw, Laguna. About 22 out of 30+ children attended the graduation. Our guest speaker was Sir. Aguila, principal of Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School. After the ceremony a snack was followed at the basement. Present during the graduation was Ana Arnisto our Sabbath School Director, Noemi Dones, Lorie Cornelio, Rhey Brena, Lito Montesines, Sarah Arvesu, Miles Pales, Tracy Montesines, and their Teacher for VBS, Dianne Gonzales our Children Ministry Director.

Sabbath Guest Speaker

The principal of Nagcarlan Adventist Elementary School, Bro. Aguila was our guest speaker this morning. Then after the potluck in the afternoon, the AY program was handled by friends of Sis. Reynalyn Arvesu from AUP. About more than 18 of them and almost all of them are fresh graduate from AUP who happened to have a retreat in a nearby resort here in Liliw. And tomorrow morning at 9:00 am will be the Vacation Bible School Graduation.

2nd Week of our Vacation Bible School

Our ongoing Vacation Bible School being held at our Church is on its second week. The VBS graduation will be this coming Sunday.

AY Program

Our Head Elder Bro. Donato Brena was our speaker for yesterday Sabbath worship. In the afternoon, the Adventist Youth of Nagcarlan Church join us in our AY program.

Start of Vacation Bible School

Today is the start of our Vacation Bible School at our church located in Fernandez Compound, Liliw, Laguna. Sis. Dianne Gonzalez, our Children Mininistry Director will led the VBS for two weeks.
